Our favourite resorts of Thredbo and Mt Hotham have their new 2011 brochures out to help you plan your next trip to the snowies. Naturally they have great photos in them from Sports Photographics Australia photographer Steve Cuff.

26.12.10 Jindabyne Rodeo

The Annual Jindabyne Boxing Day Rodeo produced the thrills and spills and the Cowboys attemepted to tame the big bulls in the Bull Riding competition.
There were some great rides and also some decent spills as the bulls protested in vain at some fella on the back of them trying to ride them for 8 seconds.
Here is a snippet of the action or go to the Gallery to see more of the action. Photos by Steve Cuff

13.09.10 XTM fashion shoot

Photos by Steve Cuff

Spring has arrived in the mountains and the skiing is still sensational. With more snow falling as we type this update, it will be a September long to remember.
It is also the time of year that we shoot photos for the XTM catalogue. And with a new bright wardrobe of jackets and pants arriving at Hotham for the shoot, it was time to put our models Anna and Ritchie to work. These are just a few samples from the great range for next year but for more info and to see all the latest gear for winter 2011, keep a track on the xtm.com.au website.

Update Wednesday 25th August 2010

Big snow has been dumping all over the Snowy Mountains recently with Thredbo and Mt Hotham now in excellent shape with some of the best snow in recent years now on offer.
So if you are a skier you should get down here now, no questions asked.
Above is a photo from the thrilling finish to the skier x race in Hotham last weekend. Thredbo's Scott Kneller (red bib) flashed through on the last jump to win consecutive races. Anton Grimus from Mt Buller was 2nd and Russian Georgy Kornilov 3rd. Two races were held on the weekend for the FIS Australian New Zealand Continental Cup with Kneller winning both mens races and Katya Crema (pictured above) placing 1st and 2nd in the two female races.
Both of these aussie skiers competed in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics and are the bright new faces of Australian Skiing.
