Skiers and travellers to Canada will welcome the new Air Canada non stop flights from Sydney to Vancouver starting mid December. You can now shave 3 hours off your trip and avoid the nasty stop over in Honolulu where you were wasting a few hours just getting off and back on the plane.

The cream of Australian Sport gathered in Melbourne on Wednesday 22nd February for a gala evening to see who would be crowned the best in their chosen sports for 2006. 03.01.07 Big Year Ahead with Sports Events

Sports Photographics Australia are pleased to announce that they have been appointed as the official photographers for two of the biggest sporting events on the Australian calendar during 2007. The World Police and Fire Games and the Australasian Masters Games will both be staged in the city of churches, Adelaide South Australia this coming year.

World Police and Fire Games March 16-25 2007 The 2007WPFG will attract up to 8000 participants from Australia and around the globe where they will descend on Adelaide to test their skills in a variety of over 75 sports during an exciting 10 days of competition. Participants from the Police Forces, Fire Services, Ambulance services and other emergency and corrective services will pit their skills against each other on the world stage.

Australasian Masters Games October 5-14 2007 The masters games have extended their arm this time around to include all of Australasia which could result in even bigger numbers than 2005's 10000 plus people who converged on Adelaide for the last event. The competition will be hot again among the regular participants who attend each event and compete in over 65 different sports during their ten days of action packed competition.
